Go Grampy!

If you know anything of the English culture, then you will know that cricket is an important pastime - especially for my Dad. During the early days of summer he plays on a team of local clergymen. Naomi requested an opportunity to watch him play, so we decided to do just that.

The kids made the 'GO GRAMPY' signs and were excited to be able to cheer him on.

My Dad plays the position of wicket keeper (the one kneeling down with his back to the camera). I would like to be able to tell you that his team won that day, but it was not to be, although it was a close game.

We didn't stay to watch all of it as a cricket game can go on for hours and hours. Instead we spent the rest of the afternoon at a local park enjoying some of our Creator's incredible handiwork.

Oh my goodness, England is just so stunning.

I MISS cricket something awful here. LOVE it! That is so cool that your Dad still plays. Yep--it sure can be a LONG game :) It took Anthony a long time to understand why in the world men can play a game non-stop for five days :)

Been thinking about you so much, friend. Please update us when you have a minute. What is the Father doing in your lives?

Love and hugs
